In a Meeting Lithuanian Foreign Minister says Pope Francis is welcomed to Lithuania

On 15 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius took part in the General Audience to meet Pope Francis at the Vatican. The Minister and the CEO of Lithuania Post Lina Minderienė presented to the Pope the postage stamp issued for a joint use in Lithuania and the Vatican for the first time ever to mark the 600th anniversary of the Samogitian (Medininkai) Diocese. L. Linkevičius has also met with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin and discussed bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and the Holy See. More
