Lithuania celebrated its 25th Anniversary of the defense of freedom. On this day, January 13th, Lithuania commemorates and remembers all who laid down their lives for the freedom of their country. 

Honorary Consul Mr. Shekhar Kanabar attended the sixth traditional meeting which have been held every 3 years since 2001. H.E President Dalia Grybauskaitė met with honorary consuls from different states. The meeting was held in Lithuania's capital, Vilnius.
